Hi, I’m Amanda -

and I’m the owner of The Curated Concierge! I’m a wife and mom to three little ones with roots planted in the outskirts of Chicago. I’m a reality TV junky, a Virgo, Type-A, and what some have so kindly referred to as obsessively organized. I love cooking, though I could do without the less than desirable feedback from my three live-in critics at every meal, and I get a different result every time I take the Enneagram test. That’s probably more than enough info to satisfy most of you, but for the more curious, let’s take a quick dive into my work history!

Until launching The Curated Concierge, I worked in corporate America for thirteen years. About 10 years of that was spent working in-person, and the last few years, I worked remotely. I was a Program Consultant at a financial company. I planned and implemented overall strategy for events and educational programs within the Asset Management department, then managed the preparation and logistics for the 60+ annual events as well. I was also responsible for obtaining the event sponsorship so with that, I gained invaluable experience in relationship management and networking. Then, to scratch that creative itch, I did quite a bit on the side as well - anything from planning weddings and vacations to writing blogs and newsletters to building out websites to creating gift guides and welcome baskets - mostly all for friends, and some for clients-turned-friends.
